- Responsible for assisting of Production Manager to oversee the Production Department.
Responsible for coordination, monitoring all fabrication activities to meet project approved schedule and ensures the construction progress meets project approved milestone/ targets in accordance with company specification, codes, standards and requirements with committed HSE requirements.
Key accountabilities
- Assist the Production Manager in daily yard operation, planning, sourcing and selecting Sub-contractors for the projects.
- Assist the Production Manager to manage all fabrication activities for offshore works
- To co-ordinate preparation of materials, equipment and consumables are being carried out prior to any mobilization for offshore works.
- Be responsible for receiving of the Work Instruction and distribute the work to each Production Supervisor.
- To monitor and plan man-hour requirement for the fabrication activities
- Ensure all AFC and shop drawings are available for fabrication team.
- To establish and ensure adherence to the fabrication schedule.
- Provide fabrication progress input to Production Manager.
- To manage tools, equipment, machines for fabrications works.
- Ensure the execution of fabrication catch up plan as required.
- To establish Fabrication, Erection, Assembly and Load out procedure
- Assist the Production Manager to manage the fabrication workforce.
- Shall be responsible for coordinator and support with design, material control, procurement and QA/QC.
- Responsible for safety and quality performance of fabrication team.
- Assist the Production Manager to plan for upgrading of skills of workers.
- Attending meetings and other project routines set by Production Manager.
- Liaise with customer, Third party, Surveyor and Sub-contractors at work.
- Involve & participate in HSE committee meeting.
Job holder specifications
- University graduation (Major: Mechanical, Engineering or Technical)
- At least 3 years of working experience as Production Supervisor and 2 years of working experience as Assistance Production Manager in related fields.
- Good command English (spoken & written)
- Strong background of technical knowledge, experience
- Good ability of computing skills on MS applications and CAD
- Proven organizational, management & leadership skills
- Team-working minded and service orientated Hard-working
